Week of 11/20-24 and Lesson 11 Printout Dear parents, Congratulations to our  kids for completing their English exams! After the 2nd Big Test, we let the kids watch the history of Thanksgiving since we celebrate it every fourth Thursday of November (which was just yesterday!). We let the kids chill out and watch a hilarious turkey story to help them unwind after the big test. We even threw in some questions to make sure they were still learning while having fun.    Week of 11/13-17,  Test Week Printout Dear parents, This week, kids are working hard on worksheets both in class and at home, getting ready for the upcoming big test. I hope they will do their best to master all that was learnt for them to do well on the big test. Here's what you should remind your child about for the exam: 1) Write neatly. If I can't read their writing or understand what it is, they'll lose points. 2) Read and follow all the instructions carefully. Points will be taken off if they don't follow the directions. 3) Read all the questions carefully and check their answers. Remember to use capital letters and punctuation marks when needed. 4) Make sure they come to school with sharp pencils and an eraser. 5) Encourage them to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and be on time for school on the exam day. 6) Tell them to do their best! Additionally, they had fun decorating their Thanksgiving worksheets in class. Next week will be filled with various review activities.
